4 oz. egg noodles (half spinach noodles) Boiling salted water 1 cup cottage cheese 1 cup sour cream 1 small clove garlic, minced or pressed 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. EACH dried oregano, basil and tarragon leaves Dash hot pepper sauce Salt and black pepper 2 Tbsp. EACH chopped onion and green pepper 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine Paprika |
Directions |
Boil noodles in boiling salted water for 8 min. or until al dente. Rinse with hot water and drain well. Set aside.
Meanwhile, combine cottage cheese, sour cream, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, herbs, hot pepper sauce, salt and black pepper. Mix well. In a skillet, saute onion and green pepper in the heated butter for about 5 min. Stir into cottage cheese mix¬ture. Add noodles and stir until well blended. Spread into buttered 8-or 9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 40 min. or until hot and bubbly. |
