This easy-to-put-together meatloaf is simple to make. Not only will it impress your friends, but there should be enough leftover to for sandwiches the next day
the next day.
Ingredients |
2 1/2 Ibs. ground beef 1egg 1 cup milk 3/4 cup bread crumbs 2 peeled and grated carrots 1/2 cup chopped onion 3 Tbsp chopped parsley 2 tsp. salt Chopped parsley Tomato wedges and thinly sliced carrot strips for garnish |
Directions |
Place the beef in a large mixing bowl.
In separate bowl, beat the egg and milk. Stir in the bread crumbs, Grease a shallow baking pan. Shape beef mixture on it into a loaf (if you wet your hands with water, it will be easier to shape). Bake at 350°F for 60 to 70 min. or until meat is cooked. Sprinkle with parsley Garnish with tomato wedges, celery sprigs and carrots before serving. |

Tips: If you wish, you can prepare the meatloaf up to step 3 two hrs. in advance Cover and refrigerate. Bake about 10 min. longer. |
