Chocolate Pie

Lovely holiday pie


1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
3 to 6 tablespoons cocoa
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pie shell


Mix all ingredients together and pour into pie shell. Bake for 45 minutes to one hour at 325 degrees. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Serve with whipped cream.

The consistency of the pie will change with the time baked. For a creamy filling, bake around 45 minutes. For a more cake-like filling and crunchier crust, bake for one hour.
