Chicken Kiev

Delicious Ukranian-style baked chicken. Sure to become a favorite!

Difficulty: Easy


1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 skinless boneless chicken breast
1/4 cup white wine
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1/4 cup parsley, chopped


Heat oven to 375. Melt butter in 2 qt saucepan. Combine bread crumbs, cheese, and spices except parsley on wax paper. Dip chicken in butter, roll in crumbs. Place skin side up in ungreased 9″ baking dish. Bake in center of oven at 375 for 30 min. Meanwhile, add wine, onion, and parsley to remaining butter. When chicken is brown, pour butter mixture on chicken. Cook 2-3 min more, or until sauce is hot.

Serve w/ sauce spooned over.


This is delicious, and very fast and easy to prepare. It will become a family favorite!
